Cara Nahaul (b. 1987) is an artist living and working in London. She received a BA from Goldsmiths University, London and an MFA from Parsons The New School for Design, New York. Her paintings shift between fiction and reality, inviting viewers to imagine how they might mine, reconstruct and reflect upon their personal histories. She has had solo exhibitions at Trade Gallery, Christine Park Gallery and Taymour Grahne Projects. She has been twice selected for the John Moores prize, and was the recipient of the inaugural Jerwood Painting Fellowship. She is currently represented by Taymour Grahne Projects.
