Tim A Shaw (b. 1982) is an artist and co-founder of Hospital Rooms, Making Time and the Dentons Art Prize. He makes installations, light-sculptures, paintings and mixed media assemblages that often form immersive spaces that have an atmosphere of untethered possibility - transcending constraints of the gallery space. He studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins and recent group and solo exhibitions include The Waiting Room at Wimbledon Space, London; Voice of a Generation at the Quin, New York; Musee Ernest Cognacq, Ile de Re; 1 Godley VC House, Griffin Gallery, London; Control to Collapse, Blythe Gallery, London; and Intangible Beauty, Kasher|Potamkin, New York.
