Andy Harper (b. 1971) is an artist based in West Cornwall. He studied Fine Art at the Royal College of Art and is currently a Senior Lecturer on the MFA programme at Goldsmiths, University of London. Harper’s tapestry-like layered oil paintings submerge the viewer in intimate visions of organic matter. The work in this auction is from the same body of work as Harper’s upcoming solo exhibition, Parallel Botany at Patrick Heide Contemporary Art, London.
