Do Ho Suh (b.1962, Korea) currently based in London, works across film, drawing and sculptural installations. His spatially defiant works have notions of memory, displacement, and home embedded into their permeable, translucent surfaces. After earning his BFA and MFA in Oriental Painting from Seoul National University, Suh continued his studies at the Rhode Island School of Design and Yale University in the United States. His work forms part of various public collections including The Guggenheim in Abu Dhabi, 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan and The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. His extensive list of exhibitions and accolades include a Solo Show at The Whitney Museum, New York and The Ho-Am Prize in The Arts.
