Paul Morrison (b. 1966) is a contemporary artist whose hypnotic fantastical landscapes pivot between innocence and malevolence in the blink of an eye with references to Pop art, Op art, botanical illustrations, early woodcuts and
cartoons. He is a graduate of Goldsmiths College, London and was a prize winner at the Jerwood Painting Prize and the John Moores Painting Prize. He has exhibited widely internationally and has had solo shows at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin, Magasin, Grenoble and the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles. Morrison’s works are held in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Städel Museum, Frankfurt, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Thank you to Paul Morrisson and Manifold Editions for generously supporting the donation of this work for the fundraiser.
